This page is dedicated to my father, Walter Henry Mason

May 26, 1910 - January 16, 1977

May 26, 2010.....Happy 100th Birthday Dad!!  God, I miss you so much every day.....

Walter Henry, the second son of Ernest and Edna Mason

Dad, at 17 years of age

Walter and his little "princess" lol - I was destined at birth to have to play

that piano in the background - I had long fingers, perfect for playing the

piano - if he only knew that I don't even remember where middle C is!

Dad with me, my mother and my brother, Richard

Of course with his little angel again

The front step of our home in Carleton Place, Ontario

You can see the china dogs on the steps - there was

one on every step

One of the last pictures I ever got of my Dad - that's Beany, my first dog -

she had to be a poodle because there couldn't be dog hair in the house -

oh if they could see it now!  Beany was supposed to be my dog

but she went to work every day with Dad in Arnprior!

The last picture I have of my Dad, taken where he worked at

James Landscaping in Arnprior, Ontario.

It's been 33 years since you left me Dad. I still miss you so much every day.  You were supposed to be around to meet Andrew - I think you would be proud of him.  I can't deny there were days I was mad at you for leaving me too soon but....it was totally out of your control.  We will be together again some day....until then, remember that I love you so, so much.......

"Bummer"

I will get that dance, in the meantime, dance with Mom...
